New Look selects Dayforce for HR and payroll overhaul

New Look, a prominent affordable fashion retailer in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, has announced its partnership with Dayforce, Inc. to overhaul its human capital management (HCM) system across 400 stores. This strategic move aims to enhance the employee experience by providing a unified, cloud-based HR and payroll platform tailored for its workforce, which includes over 8,500 employees and additional seasonal workers during peak seasons.

The collaboration with Dayforce is set to offer New Look a comprehensive solution to optimize workforce management, streamline scheduling, and ensure compliance within the evolving regulatory landscape. A key feature of this partnership is the integration of Dayforce Wallet in the UK, which introduces on-demand pay options, positioning New Look as a competitive employer in the labor market.

Lisa Nash, Head of People Services at New Look, emphasized that the real-time payroll calculations and analytics capabilities of Dayforce will revolutionize the management of their diverse workforce, which spans full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees across numerous retail and warehouse locations. The aim is to offer a modern, flexible, and seamless HR and payroll system that caters to both current and future needs.

Steve Holdridge, President of Dayforce, Inc., highlighted the importance of modern solutions and data-backed insights in managing the complexities of today’s workforce. He expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with New Look, noting it as a testament to Dayforce’s growing momentum in the EMEA region and its capability to drive labor efficiencies and enhance the experience for frontline workers.

To ensure the successful implementation of the Dayforce platform, New Look has enlisted the expertise of Accenture.
