LinkedIn has recently launched an artificial intelligence-powered hiring assistant aimed at transforming the recruitment process. Known as the “Hiring Assistant,” this innovative tool is designed to help recruiters streamline their hiring efforts by sourcing candidates and posing screening questions.
The Hiring Assistant allows recruiters to specify details about the position they need to fill and describe their ideal candidate profile. According to Hari Srinivasan, LinkedIn’s vice president of product for Talent Solutions, the tool has already been tested internally before its rollout to a select group of charter customers. Over the next year, LinkedIn plans to broaden access to this feature. It will be offered as an additional component to the existing LinkedIn Recruiter product, although pricing details have yet to be disclosed.

This capability is referred to as “experiential memory,” as explained by Erran Berger, the lead product engineer at LinkedIn. The more the assistant is used, the better it becomes at supporting recruiters in their tasks.
